In utilizing the DC Motor, the ceiling fan operates cooler and much quieter than a traditional AC Motor. You can expect energy savings of up to 50% and a longer lifespan. Included with the fan is a remote control for ease of operation with 6 speeds and reverse direction, as well as mounting hardware, and a 6 downrod. UL, cUL listed and meets OSHA standards for indoor use. For maximum airflow effectiveness, it is suggested to mount the fan at least 10 feet and not more than 25 feet above the ground.
